Understanding Your Scores
What Does Your Percentage Score Mean?
- 90-100% Superior Alignment (Highly Focused, Strongly Rooted in Faith & Purpose): Your vision is crystal clear, and your thoughts, actions, and prayers are fully aligned with it. You have built a strong foundation, and your spiritual discipline and mindset are positioned for success.
- 80-89% High Alignment (Well-Developed, but Needs Minor Refinement): You have a solid grasp of your vision and how to walk in it. Some areas may require adjustments, but you are on the right path and positioned to grow in clarity and consistency.
- 70-79% Moderate Alignment (Growing, But Some Aspects Need Strengthening): There are aspects of your vision that are strong, but some areas may require deeper commitment, prayer, or restructuring. You are making progress, but distractions, doubts, or inconsistencies may still be present.
- 50-69% Limited Alignment (Unclear, Inconsistent, or Misaligned with Purpose): Your vision and faith-based approach may be scattered, competing, or unclear. You may be wrestling with distractions, limiting beliefs, or external influences that need to be addressed.
- Below 50% Negligible Alignment (No Clear Direction, or Vision is Disconnected from Faith): There may be a lack of clarity, faith, or commitment in your vision. If left unchecked, this could lead to stagnation or being easily swayed by outside influences rather than staying rooted in purpose.
Vision (Seeing what you want happening)
- Your vision serves as the blueprint for your future. A strong vision brings focus, motivation, and a sense of divine purpose. When aligned, you confidently walk in faith, making decisions that reinforce your desired outcome.
- However, when your vision is weak or unclear, you may struggle with indecisiveness, distractions, or conflicting goals. Without a clear vision, progress may feel slow or uncertain. Exposing yourself to negative imagery (i.e. the news, negative social media) can negatively impact your vision through influencing how you imagine yourself, or life.
- Vision-Strengthening Activities: Goal setting, journaling, visualization exercises, vision boards, scripture meditation, strategic planning, and avoiding the news or social media that weaken your vision.
Inner Speech (Talking to yourself and God about what you want to happen)
- Your inner dialogue shapes your beliefs, influences your actions and emotions, and thus your faith. When aligned, your thoughts reflect faith, positivity, and biblical truth, reinforcing your confidence in God’s promises.
- However, if your inner speech is filled with doubt, fear, or conflicting messages, it can create uncertainty and hinder your progress. Exposing yourself to negative dialogue (i.e. the news, negative social media, negative song lyrics, gossiping) can negatively impact your vision through influencing your beliefs about yourself, or life.
- Inner Speech-Strengthening Activities: Positive affirmations, scripture declarations, meditative prayer, thought journaling, and avoiding negative verbal input.
Outer Speech (Talking to others about what you want to happen)
- Speaking about your vision with the right people strengthens your faith and builds a support system. Healthy conversations help refine and clarify your vision while opening doors to new opportunities.
- If your words are filled with doubt, or if you frequently share your vision with those who discourage or misalign with it, your faith may weaken, and progress may slow. Exposing yourself to negative conversations can negatively impact your vision through influencing your beliefs- which flow back into your inner speech. It is better not to talk about your vision at all than to argue with people who doubt it. Be advised that even positive conversations can affect your actions if they give you an artificial sense of accomplishment.
- Outer Speech-Strengthening Activities: Seeking wise counsel, monitoring your words when talking to others, verbalizing goals in a faith-filled way, and only networking with like-minded individuals.
Feeling (How you feel about what you want to happen)
- Emotionally aligning with your vision builds confidence, passion, and resilience. When your emotions support your vision, you feel at peace, motivated, and expectant.
- However, when emotions fluctuate due to fear, discouragement, or uncertainty, your commitment to your vision may waver. Exposing yourself to negative emotional input (i.e. sad media, music, etc.) can negatively impact your vision through creating down or hopeless feelings that do not coincide with a faith mindset.
- Feeling-Strengthening Activities: Gratitude practices, worship, faith-building testimonies, emotional self-reflection and avoiding input that artificially lowers your mood.
Action (What you do to bring about what you want to happen)
- Faith without works is dead. Taking consistent action aligned with your vision demonstrates trust in God and commitment to progress.
- When action is lacking, progress stalls, and the vision may remain just an idea rather than a reality. Exposing yourself to people whose habits and lifestyle do not lead to the fulfillment of your vision will cause delays, or even prevent you from accomplishing your vision.
- Action-Strengthening Activities: Task prioritization, daily goal-setting, faith-based productivity, personal development and only associating with people whose habits and lifestyle coincide with those that would lead to your vision.
Sanctification and Fellowship (Spiritual transformation – Growing in holiness and Christlikeness through Church involvement, accountability partnerships, community service, and collaboration.)
- Your vision should align with God’s will and contribute to your spiritual growth. When sanctification is strong, your vision is an extension of your faith, leading to deeper transformation. If this area is weak, your vision may be self-centered, misaligned with God’s plan, or hindered by personal struggles. Fellowship also creates and maintains relationships that amplify the blessing. So, if this area is neglected, isolation or toxic connections may slow or derail progress.
Specificity (The more precise your faith, the stronger it acts on your vision.)
- At times, we’re crystal clear about what we desire, with our thoughts and emotions deeply anchored to that exact vision. Other moments, though, we might trust God broadly yet find it hard to muster faith for specific situations, items, or even certain types of outcomes. When this happens, you might notice blessings that are similar to, or in the same category of, what you want, but not quite hitting the mark you’d hoped for. Far from being a setback, this is actually a signpost for growth. When your faith feels thin for specific things, try stepping back to think in broader terms—you’ll eventually land in a sweet spot where your faith feels strongest. From there, you can go back and refine the other aspects of faith that this test highlights to sharpen it, gradually applying it to more precise hopes. However, sometimes you will see that having broad faith is enough- and God may surprise with exactly what you want despite your shortcoming.
