Community Standards & Posting Policy

AssignmentsToGo is dedicated to providing an online experience that is open, engaging, and safe. 

AssignmentsToGo is committed to fostering a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. We encourage users to share content through various methods, such as timeline posting, commenting, blogging, and uploading media. Our community values education, respectful discourse, and constructive interaction.

All blogs, posts, articles, and comments are subject to review for compliance with AssignmentsToGo’s community standards, both stated and implied. All posts are subject to removal, whether full or partial. By creating your account and participating on this site, you agree that all your posted material will adhere to site standards:

  1. Peaceful: Avoid sensationalistic or conflict-inducing content.
  2. Positive: No mean-spirited, bullying, or divisive posts.
  3. Practical: Content should have an educational or community improvement purpose.
  4. Productive: Posts should seek to improve others’ lives in a tangible manner.

Specifically, civil debates, neutral or factual analyses, structured demonstrations of course learning, examples of class/ community participation, and self/ community improvement content are what we seek to host.


Blogging & Posting

Business blogs must contain content that is at least 90% informational or educational. Acceptable examples are as follows:

1. Explaining common problems that your business or organization seeks to address:

Examples:

    • An article about conflict resolution strategies posted by a therapist.
    • A blog about a particular car problem posted by an auto repair company or parts supply store.
    • A blog about ways in which food should be stored safely posted by a store or food company, etc.
    • A community organization explains a particular issue that exists and explains its history and ways it can be addressed.

2. Reviews or explanations of products, services, or industries in the field in which your business or organization operates:

Examples:

    • A store or manufacturer posts an article about a class of products that explains why they are needed/ used, how they work, what they are made of, what makes them good/ poor quality products.
    • A business blogger shares a blog exploring opportunities for entrepreneurship/ innovation with regard to a product or within a particular industry, etc.
    • A community organization posts an article about community development strategies that are being tried by various cities.

3. Articles that explain how to do something beneficial using the product:

Examples:

    • A restaurant owner or culinary school posts a recipe.
    • A home repair store posts a DIY repair guide.
    • A coach posts a blog about how to manage the game clock effectively, or how to create a game plan, etc.
    • A community organization posts an article about ways to address homelessness, or explains ways to create more community engagement.

The use of business info such as website addresses, physical address, phone numbers, and logos are allowed, however sales info such as direct sales ads, pricing, direct purchase links, or blogs about product deals are not allowed without approval from AssignmentsToGo.

By submitting your content, you agree to conform to our community standards, current and future, and agree that your blogs, posts, articles, and comments may be used by AssignmentsToGo for business and marketing purposes as we see fit.


Unethical Posting

  • Plagiarism: Credit original work and creators.
  • Copyright Infringement: Use only authorized media, giving credit as required.
  • Defamation: Avoid false or damaging statements about others.

Prohibited topics and content

As part of our effort to keep AssignmentsToGo’s community positive and properly focused, the following content is prohibited, whether posted in text or visual media- whether real or simulated.

  • Profanity or slurs
  • Sexual content or nudity
  • Violence or bullying
  • Illegal drug promotion
  • Direct soliciting or proselytizing
  • Tribalism: Divisive content outside academic discussions

Any and all such posts that are flagged and/ or are deemed to fall into any of the above categories will be removed- regardless of their intention, or affiliation (ideological or otherwise). In some instances, the author may be offered an attempt to redact their post, however this opportunity is neither guaranteed nor required.

Failure to moderate posts and comments may result in, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Non-compliant posts may be removed, with potential redaction offered.
  • Educational discussions on sensitive topics must be conducted privately, moderated, and titled appropriately.
  • Violations can result in post removal, group suspension, or account termination.

If your account is removed for violating this policy, you agree to take responsibility for any lost profits or content incurred, or any legal ramifications should such result.

Instructor responsibility

All students have the right to have their personal information kept private according to The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). By using AssignmentsToGo.com, all instructors (meant here as any teacher, mentor, organization, or group leader using the site) agree to abide by FERPA regulations and agree to govern their activity on the site accordingly. By using this site, instructors assume complete responsibility for maintaining the privacy of their own students.

Instructors also agree to be held completely and solely responsible for any issues resulting from the release of such information- whether intentional or accidental.

Ways to help ensure your own and your students’ personal privacy on AssignmentsToGo:

  • Avoid sharing personal details and guide students to do the same.
  • Set group and post privacy to “private,” “hidden,” or restricted visibility.
  • Use profile privacy settings to control visibility of personal info.
  • AssignmentsToGo is not liable for member transactions.
  • AssignmentsToGo employees will never request sensitive personal or financial information via direct messages or emails.
  • All financial transactions that may occur between members are solely between said members- AssignmentsToGo accepts no responsibility or liability for any such transactions.

AssignmentsToGo employees will never ask for your home address, telephone number, social security number, or complete banking information via direct messages or random emails.


Reporting inappropriate content or contact

All AssignmentsToGo users may flag posts, or block users, they find objectionable and have them submitted for review. (Doing so does not guarantee that a post will be removed, only that it will be reviewed).

Mandatory Report of Child Abuse and Neglect 
Social workers, teachers and other school personnel, childcare providers, physicians, and other healthcare workers, mental health professionals, and law enforcement officers are all obligated by law to report any instance of suspected, reported, or observed child abuse. Various States require any and all persons who suspect child abuse or neglect to report.

Blocking and flagging content/ users

You may flag any post or block any user that you deem bothersome or inappropriate using the options provided on the site. You may also report members to us via email, or on our official site page (see below).
